I have a bartending interview at a hookah lounge it looks classy but not that serious, what do i wear?
So, I have this interview at this newly renovated upscale hookah lounge, the place has a beautiful bar along with Mediterranean food. I was planning on wearing a pair of dark skinny jeans with black pumps, and this really nice black long v neck fitted sweater with somewhat flairy sleeves which are about elbow length from the store guess, my hair will be flat ironed out and nice, and a nice pair of earrings. Is that nice, or should I dress more like black pants and a white shirt type of thing, only because I don't like wearing any sort of pants that are not fitted or skinny.I feel like the outfit I've chosen fits my personality, it's not revealing or would give a bad impression the first time. HELP

What is a good bartending school near the Philadelphia area?
I'm 18 years old and looking to get a bartending certificate or license or something like that. I'm not really sure, but I know that I need to go to a school to get that and I'm not sure which ones are legit. I have a car so traveling isn't really a problem, but I would prefer for it not to be in the city. I live in the suburbs about 20 minutes outside of Philly. Any help would be much appreciated

I'm going to attend bartending school. How am I going to get my foot in the door when I am done? ?
I'm looking for advice and opinions from people who are currently in the industry. Ideas I can really use Anyone in the Atlanta area know of a place I can start at? PLEASE HELP I'm looking to do this through college to help with costs and to get my own place. I'll be done with school by Christmas 2008. Looking to find something at least decent asap. I hear that people who do it love it and I want to become apart of that.

Should I go to bartending school or not? ?
I've read through the Q& A on here and the majority of the people say don't do it and that it's a waste of money. Then there were a few that went to school and were able to find jobs. The school is only $400 for two weeks and they set up interviews. I know this doesn't guarantee anything but I feel I could probably get a job with no experience since I'm college educated, have a good personality, and am professional. I don't have a strong desire to " work my way up" by bar backing or serving. I also don't want to work at a night club or fancy place. I would be content working at a small chill bar. Oh and I'm 28 year old guy living and working in orange county, CA. I'm currently working full time in commercial real estate. I'm looking to do it part time for now and possibly full time if I ever get laid off. I figure it would be nice option to fall back on at the very least. .
